BobbyG's Basic Marinade

by Bob

This basic marinade is something I'm sure many others use. I haven't looked through the whole library so if it's a duplicate, I apologize. I don't measure anything but would guess this is it....

1/2 cup Worcestershire Sauce
1/4 cup Olive Oil
1 Tablespoon each of:
Salt
Pepper
Garlic Powder

I let the steaks (Preferably prime cuts of Rib eye or strip loin about 1 1/2 - 2 inches thick) come to room temperature in this marinade (about 30-60 minutes) before I season them with the same Salt/Pepper/Garlic Powder mixture and throw them on a 500-600 degree grill.
